of the 100 books here. I'm kind of floored by that. I think I had to
read at least 6 of these suckers in high school.

apparently this was a write-in vote. this being the BBC, it explains why there are like 17 books by Jane Austen and not-a-one from, say, Twain or Hemmingway.
